I can be sarcastic. It’s a good method of dealing with teenagers.
5 Foods I'd Hate to Live Without
Oh, my gosh. I could list twenty-bazillion-five! Top of the list is bread. Bread is my crack. Chocolate is on the list. Salad, pizza and potatoes round out the list.
If I Were an Animal
I would love to be my parents’ dog. A pampered, spoiled, and very special pooch.
On Valentine's Day
I get a lot of love from my colleagues and students. It makes the day fun.
How Often I Travel
I do have more opportunities than I take, which is slightly unfortunate.
A Change I Should Make
At this point in my life there is nothing I would change. I’m satisfied and happy. Anything else would be over-the-top.
My Cooking
I can cook and bake. I’m actually quite good. But I choose not to.
The House I Grew Up In
I shared a room with a sister my whole life. One side would be neat and mine would be messy. Sometimes when we would fight we would put a tape stripe down the room to split the room. But that didn’t happen very often.
My Favorite Music
Mostly to rock and pop. U2 is my favorite band and I love 80s music.

The Weather's Effect on My Mood
Lots of gloomy days in a row makes me gloomy. And sunny days after the gloom are especially radiant. Otherwise, I wouldn’t say the weather influences my moods all that much. Unless it’s forty-below-zero. Yeah, I forgot about when it’s bone-chillingly cold. That affects my mood.
What Makes Me Cry
Everything. I’m a softie.
But, really, art moves me, music, literature. Beauty. Tragedy. I would rather cry from the beauty than the tragedy.

So far, so good. Although I’m having a hard time reading. I’ve got three books going and I need to focus on just one. Otherwise, things are good!
